Late in the winter of 2019, the founders of AccessGate Labs were working on an enterprise-grade application architecture. As the application progressed upon, both of them got in a difficult position.
The architecture was planned and being implemented keeping in mind the future changes, but even more growth was approaching with faster feedback loop. Application’s rapid growth meant that the founders needed to get ahead of the growth curve while still operating within a constrained budget.
The question surfacing was absolutely clear: how to match the speed and adaptability demands of the growing application, how to manage clusters of entities and policies operating across application architecture? There was a dilemma: The need for speed, adaptability and managing tons of policies - but with lower operating resources and capital.
To get started, both the founders started working on a low-cost architecture, scratching the fundamentals and with an objective to help organizations solve real application challenges with a combination of technology and automation. The resulting approach lead to the birth of today's AccessGate Labs!
